Easter Friday 10 April 2009 – 85.6kg

Well, I did it – I went to my doctor and asked to be put back on my anxiety medication. It’s kind of out of hand at the moment, so I think I need some help.  Unfortunately, one of the side effects is weight gain.  Fortunately, it helps to keep me sane.  I’d rather be sane and fat, than a nervous wreck and thin.  We’ll see how long it takes before I start to gain any weight (if at all).  I’m hoping, that because I’m watching what I eat, and trying to do regular exercise, that this will help and I still continue to loose weight.  I’ve got to go back to the doc in 4 weeks.

I did the usual mental health questionnaire, and fortunately, I was able to answer the ‘do you have any plans to harm yourself’ question truthfully, but saying NO!

I’m the lowest weight I’ve been in years, so at least I’m starting from a good place in that respect.

I’ll let you know how I go.

Wednesday 1 April 2009 – 86.2kg

Again, I’ve been really slack regarding posting on this blog, but I haven’t been slack with my diet or loosing weight.

Basically, since 4 January, I’ve lost:

  • 7.8kg (17.2lbs)
  • 62.5cm

My lowest weight so far has been 86.1kg (189.8lbs) yesterday, which was a total weight loss of 7.9kg / 17.4lbs

I’m still eating lite’n’easy, and I’m also enjoying my weight watchers chocolate ice cream.

I am quite sick this week, and I’ve had to cancel my boxing, which I really love.  Last week, my butt was so sore from the lunges, but I knew that I had worked hard.

Weight Loss To Date

Weight Loss To Date

As you can see, there have been ups and downs (and right now it’s TOM), so in that respect, I am really happy.

On Track = 100g loss per day

On Track = 100g loss per day

As you can see, I’m not ‘on track’ as such, with my loose 100g per day goal.  I am, however, on track with the direction of my weight.  It is going DOWN!!

Back later sometime with some more news.  I can’t weight to get that 10kg’s, which is just over 2kgs, so that should happen some time in April.

I’ve also lost 62.5cm (24.5″) since 11 January, which is when I started measuring myself.  I’m really happy.

Circumfrence Changes

Monday 16 March 2009 – 88.0kg

Today I ate:

  • fruit compote with piklets
  • yoghurt
  • cranberry & chick pea mix from an old salad
  • steak dianne (scruffy murphys)
  • 3 weight watchers desserts

I’m still tired….

Sunday 15 March 2009 – 87.9kg

Well, I’ve been really slack for about a month – no posts.  I have been eating quite well and still loosing weight.  I’ve been keeping a diary on excel working out what I’ve eaten and weighted, I just haven’t uploaded it to this blog.

Basically, since 4 January, I’ve lost:

  • 6.1kg (13.4lbs)
  • 59.5cm

My lowest weight so far has been 87.5kg on Wednesday, which was a total weight loss of 6.5kg / 14.3lbs

I’m still eating lite’n'easy, and I’m also enjoying my weight watchers chocolate ice cream.  I’ve had a few easter eggs (not good) but not nearly as many as last year (I pigged out majorly last year).

I’m so tired that when I get home from work I just want to sleep.  I swam 1km on 1 March, and haven’t been back.  I had an afternoon nap which turned into an all night nap.  I was so exhausted, but I hadn’t swum that far.

I’m still boxing but I’m doing it outdoors now.  I’m not paying for gym membership that I’m not using anymore.

I’ll try and keep this blog up to date from now on, it’s just when you get left behind, you keep thinking that there is so much to catch up on, that I’m not bothering.  I might do a massive post later on, but I might just post my graphs to describe what’s been happening.  Watch this space….

Friday 20 February 2009 – 89.8kg

I took today off work as a leave day.  I just wanted to sleep, and I did until midday.  I ate the rest of the pizza from Wednesday for dinner.  That’s it – I didn’t have anything else all day.  I’m reliving my old habits, and I have to break this!  I didn’t even exercise today.

Thursday 19 February 2009 – 89.8kg

My diet today was good.  I still didn’t go swimming.  I have a bug.  My trainer is sick too.  All I want to do is sleep.

  • breakfast: baked beans and cheese on soy & linseed toast (lite’n'easy)
  • lunch: salad with thai beef strips (lite’n'easy)
  • afternoon snack: 2 pillow biscuits (lite’n'easy)
  • dinner: nothing

Wednesday 18 February 2009 – 89.5kg

I went boxing tonight, so I’m really tired.  Here’s what I ate today:

  • Breakfast: vegenite on turkish bread
  • morning snack: 9 fantales
  • lunch: no lunch
  • dinner: 1/2 pizza (from pizza hut – so not good – and it was a meat lovers with stuffed crust)
  • dessert: frozen yoghurt (I can’t believe I was still hungry after 1/2 a pizza!!)

I really fell off the wagon tonight.  I walked out of the gym, and straight into pizza hut and ordered my pizza.  When I got home, I just sat on the couch in my sweaty gym gear and ate my pizza.  It’s something I used to do regularly, but haven’t done it yet this year.

Tuesday 17 February 2009 – 89.3kg

Today’s diet was Ok.  Here’s what I had:

  • breakfast: Vegemite on turkish bread
  • lunch: steamed dumplings (from the chinese shop)
  • afternoon tea: cakes at a colleagues farewell – I ate about 1/2 what I usually would eat, so that’s good I suppose….
  • dinner: thai green curry  (lite’n'easy)

Yet again, no swimming – I was tired after spending last night at the hospital so I went to bed almost as soon as I got home

Monday 16 February 2009 – 89.4kg

I have no idea what I ate today, because I didn’t write it down.  Mum had her heart operation today, and I know that I ate 3 subway macadamia biscuits when I was walking to the hospital from the train station.  Not good.  Also no swimming, and I’ve had to reschedule my boxing to later in the week.

I’m tired.

Sunday 15 February 2009 – 89.5

Today I’m 89.5kg, down 1.2kg from last week!!!  Woo Hooo!!!  I’m celebrating the fact that I’m under 90kg.  And this is after a week where I only exercised 1 day.  Imagine what I could have done if I wasn’t so tired and had exercised….

This is what I ate today:

  • Brunch: egg on multigrain muffin (lite’n’easy) with basil-in-a-tube and mayo
  • Snacks: 3 x rich chocolate desserts (weight watchers), 1 x fruit tub (lite’n’easy)
  • Dinner: pasta marinara with napoli sauce (lite’n’easy)

I’ve lost 7cm on my waist since January and 3cm since last week, 7.5cm from my right thigh, and 5cm from my left thigh.  Overall, I’ve lost 48cm since I started measuring, and 6cm since last week!  I’m so happy with this, especially since I didn’t swim at all this week.
